Area and Circumference of Circles Task Cards
These task cards are perfect for engaging your students in practice with Area and Circumference of circles! Get your students up and moving with this fun alternative to a worksheet! Or assign it as a Google Form as a digital learning activity! These are also great for a station rotation activity.
Students use their understanding of the Area and Circumference formulas to find the missing measures of given circles.
This product contains 24 (4 per page) problems on task cards, a student answer sheet (2 versions), a teacher answer key, and a link to a Google form with these same 24 problems.
Students are asked to:
- find the circumference given the radius or diameter
- find the area given the radius or diameter
- find the difference in the circumference and area values given the radius or diameter
- solve for the radius or diameter given the area or circumference.
THERE ARE TWO SETS INCLUDED IN THIS DOWNLOAD! I have included a set with directions to “Use 3.14 for pi,” and a set that has students “Leave answers in terms of pi.” You can choose which one, or mix and match so they get practice with both!
Please check out the preview to see the task cards!
