Classifying Triangle Task Cards Geometry

Description

These task cards are perfect for engaging your students in practice with Classifying Triangles! Get them up and moving with this fun alternative to a worksheet! Or assign it as a Google Form as a self-checking digital learning activity! These are also great for a station rotation activity.

Students use their understanding of the properties of triangles to classify triangles by their sides (scalene, isosceles, or equilateral) and their angles (acute, obtuse, or right).

Students are asked to classify triangles:

1. by their markings
2. with ruler and protractor
3. given side lengths and/or angle measures

Students are also asked to sketch triangles based on information about their angles and their sides.

This product contains 24 (4 per page) problems on task cards, student answer sheet, a link to a Google Form, and the teacher answer key.
