These task cards are perfect for engaging your students in practice with geometric models, cross-sections, and solids of revolution! Get them up and moving with this fun alternative to a worksheet! Or assign the Google Form as a digital learning activity!
Students use their understanding of 3D figures and how they relate to 2D figures and the world.
This product contains 24 (4 per page) problems on task cards, a student answer sheet, a teacher answer key, and a link to a Google form with these same 24 problems.
Students are asked to:
- determine the 3D figure modeled in a photo,
- describe the 2D figure formed by slicing a 3D figure (cross-sections),
- describe the 3D figure formed when rotated around a given line or segment.
